Job Description

We are a growing company of about 110 people who like to work and have fun together. Talented and innovative employees are absolutely crucial to our success. Our product solves the entire workflow for businesses within private health care. It can be about everything from a naprapathy who needs to get bookings into their calendar via insurance companies and their website to then write a journal to orthopedic engineers who manufacture prostheses and businesses that plan operating rooms and perform surgery.
Our development team is only 4 people. 2 team members are located in Sweden, 1 in Poland, and 1 in Spain. We are open-minded, flexible and friendly.
Our technology stack is based on pure PHP, MariaDB, JS, jQuery/bootstrap and we are working to migrate towards Angular.
About You:
  1. You are a back-end heavy full stack PHP developer, with a good understanding of front-end tech.
  2. We think you are a team player who can take responsibility and make decisions.
  3. You are not afraid to dig into a legacy code when necessary.
  4. At the same time, while coding you understand that your code will become a legacy one day too. Therefore, you are looking for future-proof solutions.
  5. You like to evaluate, challenge and have a holistic perspective to be able to write qualitative code and be involved in architectural decisions.
  6. You have broad experience of what an effective development environment looks like and want to take part in shaping routines and the methodology for the team.
Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules.
Participate in writing and implementing efficient code to develop functional web applications.
Work closely with cross-functional teams and engage in the entire application lifecycle.
Participate in code review, troubleshoot and debug applications.
  • 4+ years of commercial experience with pure PHP 8+
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Bootstrap and jQuery
  • Understanding of MVC design patterns.
  • Knowledge of TDD and Unit testing (using PHPUnit).
  • Ability to design and manage databases MySQL or MariaDB
  • Experience in Angular 2.0+ is a bonus. Otherwise, willingness to learn Angular is a must.
We are looking forward to receiving your applications!
Best regards,
Team Pilot
